Here's an interesting new feature for all of you to play with. First, go to your account settings, and create a four-digit phone pin. Then, dial our new phone system, at (218) 339-8389. You'll need your user ID and the pin you created in order to log in. Currently the only thing you can do, or at least the only thing mentioned in the menues, is to record a new audio profile. This may be helpful for those who don't have a microphone. Comments and suggestions welcomed.
We've switched providers, and things seem to be a lot more stable. We also now have numbers for the United States and the UK. Click here for more info.
Check out the new voice mail feature, which Chris has programmed. Premium users are given a voice mail box where they can receive messages. All users can send messages to other Zone BBS by Phone users. Please let us know what you think.
You are now notified on login if you have new voicemail. Also, if you have new voicemail, the number of messages is displayed just below the number of new mail messages, near the top of each page. This number is updated every 5 minutes.
We have decided to keep voice mail available to all users for the moment with the possibility of adding additional features for premiums. This doesn't mean that we've decided to make voice mail totally free forever, but it is for the moment. Please enjoy and send us your suggestions.
